So we are in the 2,252nd day of lockdown (or so it feels!) but some restrictions are now lifting. I hope you all continue to stay safe in these strange times.
This month, I thought I would talk about something that maybe one or two of us has experienced whilst isolating/in lock-down; weight gain (cue dramatic music!)
I raise my hand and admit to having put on a bit of weight during lock-down (yes, even dietitians can slip into poor eating habits occasionally!)
When I was working from home, I found it hard not to have extra snacks in the day as they were readily available in the kitchen that was just a 2 minute walking distance.
However, it is time to nip this in the bud and reinstate my healthy eating.

My Fitness Pal: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps is a free app. You can record food and activity and it will calculate calorie intake and output. You can get this for your smart phone.
Carbs & Cals: http://www.carbsandcals.com this is both a website and app to help you with portion control. The app does have a cost though, at around £4.99.
