Hello All,
We know you have waited a long time for an update, we did see the government announcement yesterday and we just wanted to let you all know we are working on a plan.

We will be sending an email, updating the website and our social media with an update as soon as we have one. For those without internet, we will be making telephone calls.

Thank you for your patience.

Atrium stadium tours

As some of you may already be aware, on the 26th June 2020 the Atrium Health team embarked on their 24 hour “Atrium Stadium Tours” cycling challenge. The challenge involved us cycling the total distance of all 92 stadiums in the football league, which was 2359 miles in total, using the exercise bikes in the gym.

You will all be glad to know that we completed the total distance with 2 hours to spare at 10am on the 27th June 2020. During the 24 hour period we received loads of support and motivation from our patients and members which was lovely to see.

A massive £1,430 was donated during the challenge, which we can’t thank everyone enough for. Also during the challenge as we reached the £5,000 total raised mark, we received £10,000 from Sport England and £1,000 from Coventry City Council which we are very thankful for. However, the work hasn’t stopped there, if we want to keep the money from Sport England and Coventry City Council we need to make sure we reach our overall target of £20,000!

The Crowdfunder ends 24th July 2020 so if everyone could continue spreading the word and donating if possible it would be extremely appreciated by everyone here at Atrium Health.

Atrium Stadium Tours

This is a map showing the route we are going to take during our “Atrium Stadium Tours” challenge.

Our start and end point will be the Ricoh Arena in the Midlands. We will then venture through the West Midlands and up to the North West passing Old Trafford on our way. We’ll follow the coast up North and then cycle over to the North East towards St James’ Park.

Then we will head down to Yorkshire and back out to the East coast, before a quick stop off in the East Midlands (at which point we’ll be roughly halfway through our challenge).

Next it’s back out to the East coast and then into London, where we’ll get through quite a few stadiums ticked off in a short space of time.

After London it’s down to the South coast, and all the way across to Plymouth. Then it’s a couple of stops in Wales before the final stretch back to the Ricoh Arena.
